Two of the scientists responsible for sounding the alarm on the thinning ozone layer have reported that the hole over the Antarctic has stopped widening, and may close within a generation or two. This one was so brutal it almost wasn't fun to watch. Almost. NBC's Chris Matthews and antiwar veteran Paul Hackett made mincemeat of Texas GOP congressional candidate Van Taylor, whom they repeatedly chastised for using meaningless talking points.
