Steven Borowiec specializes in North Korean and South Korean affairs. Though Brorwiec mainly writes for The Los Angeles Times, his work has also appeared in The Guardian, The Toronto Star, GlobalPost, South China Morning Post, The Wall Street Journal,YaleGlobal, Adbusters, The Chicago Tribune, and other news sources. He is a deputy editor at South Korea’s Hankyoreh newspaper and graduated with a Honors BA in political science and English literature from the University of Toronto.
