Former CIA Analyst Melvin Goodman on the Agency’s Manipulation of Intelligence
On a panel moderated by Truthdig Editor in Chief Robert Scheer (pictured, right), Goodman explains why he blew the whistle on corruption in the Central Intelligence Agency.In his new book, “Whistleblower at the CIA: An Insider’s Account of the Politics of Intelligence,” Goodman recounts his time at the CIA and explains the intimidation and misinformation that have led to many of America’s foreign interventions. This past Sunday, Goodman joined a panel moderated by Truthdig Editor in Chief Robert Scheer. Goodman discussed CIA internal failures and his role in trying to expose them.
