During a recent radio show, Rush Limbaugh chortled over a newspaper headline that playfully asked whether John Edwards would be "the first woman president." A number of newspapers around the country have dropped Ann Coulter's syndicated column following her now-notorious homophobic zinger at a conference of conservatives last week. John Edwards' new campaign manager, David Bonior, introduced himself to supporters Wednesday by calling President Bush's assertion that Congress can't stop him from sending more troops to Iraq "total bull."
