The short film below was made two years after 9/11, when great numbers of Americans still believed the two big lies told by the Bush administration and the mainstream media. First, that Iraq’s leader, Saddam Hussein, had funded Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida, the group responsible for the 2001 World Trade Center attacks, and second, that Iraq had great hidden piles of nuclear weapons built for the purpose of attacking the United States.

At the time, there were many reasons not to believe these falsehoods, such as the fact that Iraq was still decimated by the earlier Gulf War, ordered by the first President Bush, and that the country had since operated under severe sanctions imposed by the U.S. and its allies. Adding to the absurdity of the concocted “threat,” Iraq’s economy was equivalent to that of the state of Kentucky.

The small girl in the film below, titled “Demons,” by New York City artist and filmmaker Tyler Cartner, expresses awareness of the true horror and threat, which history has shown were being schemed and forced on the American people and the world from within the White House, not Iraq and Afghanistan.
