Truthdig columnist Chris Hedges is part of a group of celebrities, journalists and activists who are featured in a new video voicing their support for whistle-blowing Army Pfc. Bradley Manning, whose trial for sending hundreds of thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks has just gotten underway.

“I am Bradley Manning,” they proclaim in what’s being billed as a “leaked teaser.”

“I think we have to be clear that the cables were not top secret documents,” Hedges, who at one point is seen holding a sign that reads “I AM BRADLEY MANNING,” says.

Also featured in the video: Oliver Stone, Russell Brand, Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Phil Donahue, Matt Taibbi and Daniel Ellsberg.
