To call the U.S. bombing of the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, a war crime and to demand reparations, healing and a public rethinking of the aims of this war is perhaps the most effective way we have to address war itself, to stand up to its powerful perpetrators and to put a halt to their uncontrolled behavior. A hospital run by Doctors Without Borders in Kunduz, Afghanistan, was badly damaged Saturday in what appears to have been a U.S. airstrike.
