Well, as you've probably noticed by now, John Edwards has publicly backed Barack Obama as his candidate of choice. There's just one problem, as Stephen Colbert reminds us: Edwards previously said on Colbert's show that he'd support the candidate who pledged to do the most for the nation's poor -- and the one who supplied him with a jet ski. Although John Edwards endorsed Barack Obama, he had plenty of nice things to say about "my friend and your friend, Sen. Hillary Clinton." In fact, he began his endorsement speech with a plea for unity: "When this nomination battle is over -- and it will be over soon -- brothers and sisters, we must come together as Democrats."
