Paul Olague

Paul Olague is a Truthdig contributor. From 1976 to 2008, he was a faculty member in the UCLA Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. His molecular biological research focused on the development of neural tissue using model systems in cell culture. Since retiring, Olague works with Cineville, a production company, as vice president of development and writer of screenplays. He has one in development, "The Painted Bird."
