‘The Daily Show’: Stewart Blasts Fox’s Judith Miller for Hypocrisy
If it's a case of hypocrisy involving a Fox News personality, Jon Stewart is on the case.
Remember when Fox News contributor Judith Miller was a New York Times reporter and in 2002 reported an erroneous leak from the Bush administration that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Well, based on a recent comment Miller made about Obama administration leaks being bad for the country’s national security, it appears she doesn’t remember (even though it ultimately cost Miller her job).
But “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart hasn’t forgotten.
Stewart, who is one of the best when it comes to pointing out others’ incongruities and hypocrisies, took Miller to task.
“[Miller’s] on fucking television as the expert on why other people doing it is not good, when in reality the move she is describing should be called ‘pulling a Miller,’” he said.
