O’Reilly Slams Moyers on Gun Control Comments

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly ripped into PBS’ Bill Moyers on his “O’Reilly Factor” program Monday night for having the nerve to criticize the National Rifle Association after last week’s deadly shooting rampage at a Colorado movie theater.
Moyers called out the NRA in the wake of the Aurora attack in a special video essay, partially blaming the gun organization and calling it “the enabler of death — paranoid, delusional and as venomous as a scorpion.” Moyers added, “With the weak-kneed acquiescence of our politicians, the National Rifle Association has turned the Second Amendment of the Constitution into a cruel hoax, a cruel and deadly hoax.”
O’Reilly attacked the PBS host for “demagoguing the mass murder in Colorado,” saying Moyers “has no clue, no clue at all.”
“He apparently believes that federal and state governments can actually control gun crimes,” O’Reilly said. “That’s so dumb it hurts.”
Hold on a minute. Didn’t O’Reilly recently apologize on his program for being “an idiot” after he got the Supreme Court’s health care reform decision wrong? Oh yeah, he kind of did.
