On Wednesday, President Obama gave a speech to the United Nations General Assembly. His message — that Palestinians should return to the peace negotiations of 1979 — seemingly contradicted his speech from a year ago, when critics say he argued in favor of a Palestinian state. He’s not completely inconsistent, though. At least he remembered to wear the same tie.
