Sorry, Ice-T, but while Hillary Clinton may in some circles be considered a “G,” she may not be up for the task of staying on the “high wire of American politics” much longer — at least not in her current position.

Clinton reaffirmed on Thursday that she isn’t planning to stick around for another term as Obama’s secretary of state in the likely event that he is re-elected. What that means for her 2016 prospects, however, remains to be seen, and as she herself pointed out, “Everyone always says that when they leave these jobs.” –KA

“I have made it clear that I will certainly stay on until the president nominates someone and that transition can occur” if Obama wins re-election, she told a town hall meeting. “But I think after 20 years, and it will be 20 years, of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am.”
