David Lynch, The Nightclub
Master of cinema bizarrité David Lynch is giving the Parisian nightlife a shot of his distinctive brand of surrealism by directing part of the production of a new nightclub, Silencio, based on his 2001 film “Mulholland Drive.” There, fans can get their fix of Lynchian weirdness with a side of whiskey.
To paraphrase Stefon: Paris’s hottest club is Silencio. This club has everything: plush seats, Naomi Watts, a proscenium arch, a multilingual goateed magician who gives people seizures, and a throaty nightmare cupcake woman.
