He tells Judy Woodruff, “It was upsetting to me as a citizen to realize how few members understood the issues they were dealing with.”
Kaiser says there are maybe 25 people “max” in Congress who are expert at financial matters. For the record, between the House and the Senate there are 535 voting members of Congress.
