Truthdig Editor-in-Chief Robert Scheer and the other “Left, Right & Center” panelists talk about Chris Christie’s endorsement of Donald Trump for president.

Moderator Josh Barro, from The New York Times, wants to know if Rich “Against Trump” Lowry needs a drink. Lowry, from the right-wing National Review, says everyone — including Marco Rubio, by implying that Trump wet his pants during Thursday’s debate — is now playing by Trump’s rules because he is the alpha male on the stage.

Scheer says Trump is a moderate in the spirit of Mussolini. Special guest Juliette Kayyem of the “Security Mom” podcast and Kennedy School of Government, says people who think Democrats and independents won’t find Trump appealing are deluding themselves.

Also, should President Obama finally close Guantanamo? And should Apple assent to the Justice Department’s demand to hack the San Bernardino shooter’s iPhone?
