The White House launched a male star-studded PSA as part of its “1 Is 2 Many” campaign against sexual assault on college campuses, and it’s great. Men whose faces you’ll recognize, the president and vice president as well as movie stars we all love, explain in a 1 minute video that “we have to stop [sexual assault].”

They remind viewers that this is not just a problem for women; it’s a problem our nation is facing as a whole and it’s happening to our loved ones, not strangers. They also outright define rape, explaining that if a woman does not give her consent, or is not able to do so, “it is rape.” Yes, rape, the word that some colleges are so “squeamish” about, they’ve decided to rebrand the horrific act as “nonconsensual sex,” according to a recent Al-Jazeera America report.

Perhaps the most important part of the PSA comes when the latest James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, states, “If I saw it happening, I’d never blame her — I’d help her.”

Be sure to look out for this PSA “in select Regal Entertainment Group and Cinemark movie theaters … starting in May.” But in the meantime, spread the word and help our country fight this rape crisis, because, to mirror the campaign name, one in five students being sexually assaulted is truly too many.
