Join certified mountain guide and Division I college athlete Thomas Hedges, Truthdig publisher Zuade Kaufman and author Chris Hedges for our inaugural five-day backpacking trip and lecture tour through the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

The hike, a rigorous trek up to some of the best scenery on the East Coast, will include a daily one-hour discussion based on Chris Hedges’ best-selling work, War Is a Force that Gives Us Meaning. The trip is recommended only for those in good physical condition.

Cost is $2,100 per hiker and all proceeds, after expenses, will go to sustain Truthdig. The hike will be limited to 12 participants.
