U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been around only since 2003, and there are many reasons why the country can do without it—most of all, because of its cruelty, says “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee in a recent segment.
The comedian also reminds viewers that though there’s bipartisan blame to be shared for the mass deportations of recent years, there was a time when even Republicans believed in amnesty for undocumented immigrants. (Remember President Reagan?)
