A Palestinian gunman opened fire during dinner at Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav seminary on Thursday, killing eight people and wounding nine before he was shot to death. Holocaust survivors took to the streets of Jerusalem on Sunday to protest the Israeli government's offer of a $20 monthly stipend. A survivor group director explained the situation this way: "They have cancer 14 times more than the regular population. They break their bones due to the malnutrition they had years ago.
