Turns out polar bears aren't the only land mammals struggling with global warming. Many of the world's most-used rivers, from the Colorado to the Ganges, have been losing water for the last 50 years. Just in time for Earth Day, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is expected to announce on Sunday 127 environmental proposals, including a plan to add a million trees to the city over the next 10 years.
