Donald Trump, the real estate tycoon and reality television star, announced Tuesday that he is seeking the Republican presidential nomination.

In his speech — made before a group of supporters at Trump Tower in New York — Trump said the country was lacking a “truly great” leader.

The Hollywood Reporter reports:

“We need a leader that wrote The Art of the Deal; we need a leader that can bring back our jobs, manufacturers, military, to take care of our vets,” he told the audience. “We need somebody that can take the brand of the United States and make it great again. Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for President of the United States. We are going to make our country great again!”

“I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created,” he continued. “I’ll bring back our jobs from China, Mexico, Japan, so many places. I’ll bring back our jobs and I’ll bring back our money!”
