Sarah Silverman’s no shrinking violet, as she recently demonstrated once again by launching a direct hit on the Murdochian empire that is Fox News, calling the cable news channel “a 24-hour-a-day racism engine” in her startlingly named new book, “The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee.” A Fox News rep, however, was ready with some zingers to fire right back at the salty comedienne. –KA

“The entire Fox News Channel is a 24-hour-a-day racism engine, but it’s all coded, all implied,” she wrote (via NewsBusters). “Lou Dobbs used to scream on CNN about ‘immigration,’ not ‘filthy Mexicans.’ “

“Sarah’s anger is understandable having recently lost her television show,” a Fox News spokesperson said in response.
