For presidential hopefuls, surely this is an unmistakable sign of impending apocalypse: GOP contender Newt Gingrich, who was not so long ago enjoying an improbable — and ultimately ephemeral — streak of campaign success, now finds himself free of those pesky embedded print reporters, as of late last week. –KA
