Drawing inspiration from the stuff of fantasy, Microsoft has announced plans to release a new platform and “augmented reality visor” that will fill your world with videos, images and three-dimensional objects.

The announcement of Windows Holographic and the HoloLens headset came as the company took the wraps off its next operating system, Windows 10. The Verge quotes CEO Satya Nadella as saying the product will be launched at about the same time as Windows 10 and will be priced for both business and individual consumers.
