“What is being done to inspire the base?” Moore asked. “I don’t think ads are gonna do it. I think he’s gotta act. He should have started acting four years ago. This is what’s so upsetting to me. … He should not have compromised with Congress. … He hasn’t followed through on the things he said he was going to do. … Young people who voted for him four years ago are not that enthused and are not out there working right now like they were four years ago. And I think the Democrats are depending on our fear of going back to Republicans running the show — that that’s what’s going to motivate enough of our people to get out. I don’t know.”
