Just in time for March Madness, “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver reveals just how much bullshit the National Collegiate Athletic Association makes student athletes go through (including, some say, going hungry). The organization exercises enormous control over their lives — and rakes in billions from corporate sponsors — without paying the athletes a penny. “This whole system seems fundamentally flawed,” Oliver says in frustration, “and yet the NCAA constantly insists there is no way athletes can be paid even a nominal amount.”

Oliver then introduces a realistic NCAA video game, “March Sadness 2015,” rated “E” for “Exploitative.”
