Code Pink supporters attempted to execute a “citizen’s arrest” for perceived crimes relating to the direction and persecution of the Iraq War in Beverly Hills and Rove eventually left the Saban Theatre stage where about 100 supporters had gathered to hear him speak Monday.
Rove’s appearance today at the Lafayette Veteran’s Hall – almost within sight of the “hillside of crosses” dedicated to the war dead and virtually in Code Pink’s backyard – could go the same way, though local police aren’t saying what preparations, if any, they are making in advance of his appearance.
