For the past several years, “Saturday Night Live’s” flamboyant New York City correspondent Stefon has been consistently making audiences laugh with his hilarious list of the city’s hottest nightclubs on the show’s satirical news segment, “Weekend Update.” But all that’s about to change now that long-term cast member Bill Hader, who plays the immensely popular character, has exited the show.

In the season finale, “SNL” gave a fitting tribute and final farewell to the character, as Stefon gave us all one more “New York City’s hottest nightclub” to add to his list (Pants, Hader tells us in his spot-on impression of actor Al Pacino. It’s located on “that fake street from Seinfeld,” has a king-sized lesbian bouncer who looks like NBA coach Phil Jackson and features the table from “Charlie Rose”) before abruptly leaving Seth Meyers to go marry … Anderson Cooper.

Watch below as Meyers valiantly tries to break up the wedding, which naturally features an assortment of the colorful guests that patronize the nightclubs Stefon has talked about over the years, and the lengths Cooper will go to keep him (“Get ready for Anderson Cooper 360,” the CNN host says as he prepares to fight for his beloved Stefon).
