Robert Scheer on Corporate Influence in the Democratic Party

In the clip above, Truthdig Editor in Chief Robert Scheer responds to an audience question about the 2008 financial collapse and explains how Barack Obama was “financed by Wall Street.”

“What did Obama do? He embraced the Bush plan to save Wall Street and screw over Main Street,” Scheer argues. He adds that Hillary Clinton’s platform of trying to remain progressive while simultaneously embracing Wall Street is “nonsense.”
