Jill Stein has entered the building. On Tuesday, Truthdig’s Sonali Kolhatkar caught up with the Green Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, who managed to gain entry to the Democratic National Convention—and gain a significant security detail—on Day 2 of the political confab in Philadelphia.

In her sit-down with Stein, Kolhatkar got right to it with a crucial question, one that has no doubt occurred to many Americans on the left in recent weeks: What has Bernie Sanders’ full-throated endorsement of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton meant for Stein’s campaign?
