Hillary Clinton may be taking a new approach on the campaign trail. In a foreign policy talk given Thursday, the Democratic presidential candidate eviscerated Donald Trump and his qualifications for the presidency.

“He is not just unprepared,” Clinton said during a 35-minute speech in San Diego on Thursday. “He is temperamentally unfit to hold an office that requires knowledge, stability and immense responsibility. This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes, because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin.”

Trump responded with insults on Twitter:

The Clinton campaign shot back.

According to The New York Times, Clinton’s verbal assault concerns some Trump supporters who think the presumptive Republican nominee’s style could provide an opening for more attacks.
