Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton have had their differences in the past, but the two now share a common cause: Never Trump.

On Monday, the senator from Massachusetts and the presumptive Democratic nominee took the stage together in Cincinnati for their first joint campaign event.

“I’m here today, because I’m with her — yes, her,” Warren said at the Clinton rally at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.

Some people have speculated that Warren could be Clinton’s choice for vice president, but Clinton said she wouldn’t be “making any news today,” NPR reports.

Warren continued her role as attack dog against Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, while endorsing Clinton.

“[Trump] will never become president of the United States. Because Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States,” Warren said. “Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States, because she knows what it takes to beat a thin-skinned bully who is driven by greed and hate.”

The Trump campaign responded with a statement headlined “Sellout Warren.”

“Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has become a turncoat for the causes she supposedly supports,” the statement read. “… Warren’s campaigning for Clinton stands in stark contrast to the liberal ideals she once practiced. This sad attempt at pandering to the [Bernie] Sanders wing is another example of a typical political calculation by D.C. insiders.”
