In the wake of an incident of police brutality that stunned Yellow Springs, Ohio, where Dave Chappelle lives with his family, the comedian on Monday gave an inspiring speech at a City Council meeting. The topic of discussion was a replacement for the police chief, who had resigned after mishandling what Chappelle called a "gaffe" on New Year's Eve. That night, officers used excessive force while clearing the town's celebrations, pinning down a young black resident. Watch Chappelle explain how, through participation in his beloved town, Yellow Springs residents can work to make their "corner of the world" outstanding -- just as others across the country and world can do in their communities.
