Long before the Panama Papers made headlines, the Democratic presidential candidate opposed tax-haven abuse in Panama.The Panama Papers are the biggest leak in history, but the global corruption they exposed is nothing new. On the Senate floor in 2011, Bernie Sanders opposed the U.S.-Panama Trade Promotion Agreement, which barred the U.S. from cracking down on illegal and abusive offshore tax havens in Panama.
