It seems that the more Hillary Clinton wins, the further she gets from the nomination. That was especially true Tuesday when she scored a big win in South Dakota only to see her rival clinch the nomination. Sen. Hillary Clinton has apologized for making a reference to the 1968 assassination of Robert Kennedy during a Friday talk with editorial board members of the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader newspaper, explaining that her comment was intended to illustrate how the presidential nomination race isn't over until it's over. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., is "recovering as expected from brain surgery and his brain pressures continue to be in the normal range," though he remains in critical condition. In signing a bill intended to ban almost all abortions in the state, Gov Mike Rounds is directly challenging the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v Wade ruling, hoping that a more conservative court will revisit the issue (The South Dakota bill is particularly draconian: It makes no exceptions for rape or incest)
The NY Times reports that parental-notification laws do little to discourage abortions or pregnancies
