Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's first TV ad airs Thursday in Iowa. After 25 seconds of nostalgia about the Hawkeye State and predictable rhetoric about not increasing the debt ceiling, it says she's "the unifying choice that will beat Obama."
My advice to Sarah Palin, not that she would take it, is that she'd better be careful. If she keeps pretending to run for the presidential nomination, people might take her seriously.
In addition, Bachmann suggested slashing the federal budget by eliminating nine of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. "I think you know which one I'd keep," she chuckled.
I'm hoping for the moment when a federal judge picked by a Democratic president strikes down the health care law. Or when a Republican-appointed judge upholds it.
According to a source close to Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, they have already drawn up a list of possible candidates for the additional two horsemen, a list which includes Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter and the entire Cheney family.
