Advanced in 1966 by central leaders of the activist wing of the civil rights movement, the "Freedom Budget for All Americans" promised the full and final triumph of the movement by going beyond civil rights and linking the goal of racial justice for African Americans with the goal of economic justice for all Americans.

Beck’s Jeebus Boo-Boo

Glenn Beck has managed to piss off religious folk by ordering his listeners to "run as fast as you can" from churches that talk about "social justice and economic justice." That doesn't sit too well with Catholics, people who like to quote that justice-loving hippie Jesus and even Beck's own Mormon church. (Audio after the jump).
