D.C. Upgrades Its Free Condom Program

It may just be an extraordinary guerrilla marketing tactic, but after complaints that the condoms given out by D.C. schools are too small and flimsy and awkward to receive, officials have announced they are stocking up on Trojan brand condoms -- including the super-size Magnum variety in a shiny gold wrapper.

A Maryland school district, for example, just won the right to teach middle and high schoolers about homosexuality and the proper use of condoms.

These ludicrous billboards are all over Tulsa, apparently. The contemptible zealots behind them even rail against condoms as a safeguard against STDs. Check out the ad campaign. (Editor's note: We had erroneously blogged that another group was responsible for the ads. That group, which is planning a similar ad campaign, is also contemptible, but we nevertheless apologize for the mix-up.)
