Goldwater Nephew Calls for Forced Immigrant Labor Camps

Dan Goldwater, a gubernatorial candidate in Arizona and nephew of the late Sen Barry Goldwater, told a Spanish news agency that he wanted to hold undocumented immigrants in camps to use them "as labor in the construction of a wall and to clean the areas of the Arizona desert that they're polluting" He claims, however, that his words were taken out of context--that he only wanted to put convicted immigrant felons to work .

No Reporters Allowed in Gitmo–Except for Fox

Last week, the Pentagon kicked all reporters out of the Guantanamo Bay prison after the suicides of three detainees. But on Wednesday the Defense Dept. invited a Fox News analyst down to Cuba to tour the facility. And what do you know? The Fox analyst described Gitmo as ?now gentle, almost child-like the way they treat the detainees.?

Even Scalia Opposes Flag-Burning Amendment

The arch-conservative Supreme Court justice is quoted in this Jonathan Alter column as saying that banning flag-burning would "[dilute] the very freedom that makes this emblem so revered.? Mr. President, when you find yourself to the right of Antonin Scalia, you've crossed over into crazy town.
