WAGES of REBELLION The Moral Imperative of Revolt

A Truthdig Benefit Lecture and Book Signing 7th June 2015
WE ARE LIVING IN REVOLUTIONARY TIMES...

Hedges’ message is clear: Popular uprisings in the United States and around the world are inevitable in the face of environmental destruction and wealth polarization.

Focusing on the stories of rebels from around the world and throughout history, Hedges investigates what it takes to be a rebel in modern times. “WAGES OF REBELLION” looks at the personal costs of rebellion—what it takes emotionally, psychologically and physically to defy absolute power.

Truthdig Publisher Zuade Kaufman hosts the evening and introduces the program.

Moderated by Sonali Kolhatkar, Truthdig columnist and host and executive producer of the radio program “Uprising With Sonali.”
