Tyler Golson received a B.A. from Yale University, an M.A. in Arab studies from Georgetown University and an M.A. in Arabic language and translation through the University of Maryland. His primary research interests are Levantine politics, Arab mass media and Muslims in the West. Golson works as a translator and a COLSA media analyst. Golson grew up in Ardsley, N.Y., and currently splits his time between Washington, D.C., and Damascus, Syria.
