Tamara Pearson

Tamara Pearson is the Global Voices editor for Truthdig. An Australian-Mexican journalist, author and activist, she writes about Latin American resistance, global inequality and imperialism, migration, the environment and more. She has also worked as an international news and analysis editor for over a decade for various outlets, supporting reporters in their countries. She is the author of literary novels “The Eyes of the Earth” and “The Butterfly Prison,” and writes the weekly Global South news bulletin, Excluded Headlines. She lives in Mexico.
