Sharon Romeo

Sharon Romeo-Willis is the COO of Truthdig.

As a longtime advocate of equity in education for more than 20 years, she has worked with educators and administration in Title I districts to develop, facilitate and improve systems to help provide equitable education to students from generational poverty. She serves on the boards of several charities that assist marginalized communities in housing, food and education. Her awards for her work in education include: Recognition from California Legislature Assembly and California Senate and a Congressional award for education from the US House of Representatives. A proud Los Angelean, she enjoys her city with her husband, children, close friends and relatives.
