Robin Shamburg, M.A., Psychology, is a screenwriter and journalist, as well as the author of Mistress Ruby Ties It Together, a memoir of her stint as a professional dominatrix in the 1990s. Her first teleplay, “Blind Date”, starring Richard Dreyfuss, Rita Moreno and Rosie Perez, premiered as part of the acclaimed series “PBS Hollywood Presents”. It went on to win a Prism Award. She has written for numerous print and online publications, such as Yahoo! Internet Life, GQ, Talk, Leg Show, NYPress and Salon.com. She is currently finishing her second book, a novel called Dungeon Confidential.
