Merveille Assani

Merveille Assani is a freelance Congolese journalist. She began her career in 2022, working for several local media outlets.

Trained in Information and Communication Sciences in the DRC, she covers political, social, environmental, and cultural news in Kinshasa.

She worked as a correspondent in Kinshasa for Deutsche Welle's French-language program specializing in women's rights. She later worked with other media outlets, such as Le Point in Paris, providing in-depth reports, analyses, and interviews on the major issues facing her country.
