On the eve of the election, Republican voters in Maryland told The Real News Network why they campaigned for Trump.
“Status quo isn’t good enough anymore,” said Matt Stein. “You know? Coming out of school with debt. Not being able to find jobs. And it’s not getting better, it’s only getting worse. I think a lot of people really don’t think [Trump] is going to fulfill his promises, but they’d rather have that hope than to not have that hope. That Hillary’s just literally gonna do the same things.”
