[Actually, there is one other member in that dubious club — the Persian Gulf Sultanate of Oman.] Oliver then went on to point out the hypocrisy of legislators and corporations purporting to love American moms — as long as they’re either working nonstop or having gifts bought for them — and yet continuing to block laws that would make it better to be a mother in the U.S.
