But Hillary Clinton, although talking tough, isn’t buying that diplomatic ties between the two countries have never been so strained.

Clinton restated U.S. “dismay and disappointment” with the announcement but disputed the perception of the relationship in crisis.
“I don’t buy that,” she said. “I have been around a long time, not that long, but a long time. We have an absolute commitment to Israel’s security.
