We asked—you answered. Truthdig launched a redesigned site Aug. 9, and our readers shared their thoughts on the redesign. Below are sampling of their responses.

I love Truthdig’s new design. Better look, much better organization, and performance seems better too. Nice work!Markus Alexander, Florida

Love the new design! Keep on publishing the important news that gets overlooked, avoided, or minimized elsewhere.CoCoLuv9491

great look…fresh and clean lines! btw I read td every morning with my coffee.Trevor, Sydney, Australia

I prefer the original format because each new story appeared in chronological order and was given equal heading allowing the reader to decide what story was first more important to his personal interests. Richard Schaffer, Independence, Mo.

Love this. Very user friendly. Love Truthdig. A voice of sense, reason and hope. A reminder that there is a large demographic of sanity in these terryfing times.Rachel Ward, Australia

I like it. Still fumbling around, but it’s fairly intuitive. The separate “news” menu is a nice addition. From our Canadian perspective, you continue to be one of the few bright lights burning through the fog of American journalism.Hugh Culliton, Corbyville

i like the format. It’s bright, easier to read, and to review offerings. Of course, I am biased. I support your editorial focus and your contributors.jpfoster65, Ewing, N.J.

A+ on the site design… matches your great service! Ole’Austin, Mexico

Very clear and easy to read. Powerful format.Vicki Levi

Looks a lot more legit. Clean. However, it could be said that the site now looks like all the other sites. Can you put something unique and anti-establishment as a background image? In any case, good job. Love TruthDig. Thanks for your work. larussell, Los Angeles, Cali.

You did a bang-up job here ; the new design is far more user-friendly than I feared it would be ; even at first sight one can easily cope with it. Kudos!Best to all. —mhenriday, Stockholm

Congratulations Zuade and team on your great new contemporary look! Keep up the great reporting, and especially: the cartoons and animations. Best to all.Jeannie Coleman, Vancouver, British Columbia

There needs to be more of a text summary of the stories than just large images and title of the story. The images are a little too large and take up too much valuable space, I’m not a fan of having to scroll too much. … The site was in need of a redesign, keep up the good work truthdigChris

Thank you so much for what you do. I love this new (and improved) layout and look. Great journalism. —– Not the fake news !!!!Robert Henderson, Chilliwack, B.C., Canada

I’m so thrilled with your new design! The useability is fantastic and it makes reading and watching your invaluable work more enjoyable.Erika, Indianapolis, Indiana

Love the new layout! It’s easy to differentiate the various stories from one another and displays great on my laptop and my phone.J Shawyer, Tacoma, Wash.
